Relations to the philosophical concept of "Hylozoism"

The philosophical idea of "Hylozoism" (greek: hyle - matter, zoe - life) can be traced back to the greek philosophers Thales (and even older ideas of Zaratustra). It is denominating that all matter contains "life" and all "living" is out of matter - or clearer: that one cannot distinguish between "living" and "non-living" matter. The term "life" is therefore obsolete.
